You have chosen to participate in the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation’s program for food safety. The ServSafe® –Essentials, Manager Certification Training Program is recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. This course will help food service managers apply critical food safety practices with employees and to every meal you serve.

 

It is your responsibility to understand and implement the knowledge you will gain by reading and studying the information in the Serv-Safe® Essentials – 5th Ed. Course Book. Prior to attending the class and exam, you should have a firm grasp of these fundamental principles which we will review in the 1 day review class. It is highly recommended that you study about 3 weeks before attending the class and exam.



The goal of this course is to:

• Protect the public’s health and safety in your food service establishment.
• Understand current food safety policies and procedures.
• Implement effective employee training programs.
• Keep your operation in compliance with all applicable public health regulations.
• Obtain or renew your Managers Food Safety Certification.

You must register for the class with your sales representative, as there is limited space.

The Manager Certification Review Class is scheduled for the following dates in 2009 and 2010:

Monday, OCTOBER 26, 2009

Monday, January 25; April 19th; July 19th; October 18, 2010
in the new training facility at Florida Food Service

The class will start promptly at 8:00 AM and conclude after you take the exam about 3:00 PM. Please reserve your seat in the class with your Sales Representative or you can contact:

You will need to bring your ServSafe® – Examination Answer Sheet to the class. You can order the Essentials Course Book with Answer Sheet or if you have a used book that does not have an Answer Sheet, you can order just the Answer Sheet.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING THE EXAM ANSWER SHEET TO TAKE THE TEST.

Follow the directions for purchasing the materials and they will be shipped directly to you.

 

What do I need to take the test?

1. ServeSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam Answer Sheet.
2. ServeSafe Essentials 5th edition Course Book to study the information to be tested and
cccExam answer sheet.
3. Study!
4. A Drivers License or Photo ID.
