The ServSafe® –Essentials, Manager Certification Training Program is recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. This course will help food service managers apply critical food safety practices with employees and to every meal you serve. The ServSafe® Manager course ensures that you:
- Protect the public’s health and safety in your food service establishment.
- Understand current food safety policies and procedures.
- Implement effective employee training programs.
- Keep your operation in compliance with all applicable public health regulations.
Manager Food Safety Certifications must be renewed every 5 years.
The ServSafe® Manager Certification Exam must be taken under the supervision of a registered ServSafe® Proctor. Florida Food Service is proud to offer Certified Instruction and Proctoring for the ServSafe® Manager Certification Exam.

A photo ID must be presented upon entering the classroom.
The class begins promptly at 9:00 AM and will conclude after exams are taken (around 3:00 PM). Please request a seat in the class by contacting your sales representative or clicking the button below.

While it is not required, it is highly recommended that everyone – especially owners and managers – obtain a copy of the ServSafe® Manager Book 7th Ed. – Item #ES7 This publication is extremely useful as a reference tool and greatly assists those preparing in advance to take the exam.
Follow the directions for purchasing the book and it will be shipped directly to you. You do not need to purchase an exam or answer sheet. They will be provided by Florida Food Service.
